There was nothing officially planned for today. Except eating, of course. We said goodbye to the group that left at 9:00 and then went to breakfast. Lunch was scheduled for 12:30 and we had to be off the grounds by 2:00.
So how do a group of writers kill a couple hours?? They write!!!
We each found a spot in the dining room to spread out and get to work. But first we logged on to our Writing Sprinters zoom and wished Gary a happy birthday!

We really got quite silly. So excited to connect as usual on our daily zoom call, even though only two were remote. The rest were all in the same room!!
It was an amazing scene. All these wonderful women hunched over their computers or manuscripts. Occasionally someone would ask a colleague to review something or make a suggestion.

I was productive as well. I edited 15 more pages! Only 300 more to go!!

By 1:00 it was time to say goodbye to everyone. Lynn Palermo, and her charming daughter should be enormously proud of this fabulous event.
Not only did Lynn present wonderful content, she and Micha provided a setting that fostered camaraderie and of course laughter!

I am feeling very excited as I look forward to utilizing my new learning to elevate the quality of my writing.
But first, we will enjoy driving to Vancouver with Pam and Yvette, two of my writing sprint friends.

Then, on Friday, Scott and I will spend time with my sister, Alex and her mom! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen other. The perfect way to end a great week!!
I’ll update this blog again as I get closer to my goal of publication. Thanks for joining me on my writing journey❤️
