About

Deborah has been involved in genealogy for almost two decades. She has published several family history books and co-authored The Complete Reference Guide to Ideal’s 1964 and 1965 Petite Princess and Princess Patti Dollhouse Furniture.

She is the Editor of Quest, the newsletter for the Jewish Genealogical Society of Connecticut (JGSCT). Deborah has presented both in-person and virtually, on a variety of topics including blogging, sharing family history, and Jewish genealogy.

Before retiring in 2014, Deborah taught in alternative high school programs, focusing on preparing students for the work world. After leaving her full-time position, Deborah developed and taught classes for Hamden Adult Education, focusing on motivation, mindset, resilience, and personal and occupational growth.

Retirement has provided Deborah with the time needed to pursue her writing career. Nothing Really Bad Will Happen is her first mainstream novel. In addition to working on other writing projects, Deborah moderates two online writing groups.
